Chartered through the national union, our district council is a strong voice for CUPE members in the communities where they live and work.

We bring together CUPE locals from Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent to work on common issues. Our work includes community projects, political action at the local level, bargaining support and the promotion of strong public services and other CUPE ideals.

Our quarterly meetings allow local leadership to discuss issues facing locals and consider solutions.

We also organize education and training for members and activists on everything from health and safety to bargaining.
